Hector Joberteh; Former GUS contestant murdered at residence

The deceased was reportedly trailed back home from the Lagos airport.




The deceased who was killed on Saturday had just returned from the airport when he was attacked.

Hector Joberteh, a former contestant of the 2006 edition of the Gulder Ultimate Search (GUS) has been murdered by gunmen in Lagos.

The incident which occurred on Saturday, September 2, 2017, happened shortly after the deceased returned from the Muritala Mohammed Airport (MMA), Ikeja.
Close friends who spoke to the Nigerian Tribune News revealed that Joberteh went to MMA to pick up a family member. It is believed that he was trailed home.
A neighbour who witnessed the attack said that the assailants, two in number had coercively entered his place of residence and opened fire upon sighting him.
